Who we are

Spenders Anonymous is a 12-Step fellowship following the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous.

We share our experience, strength and hope as we work toward clarity in our relationship with money.

Some of us spend compulsively or take on debt that we don't know how to repay. Some of us lack the confidence in our ability to earn money, while other have money, but lack the ability to manage it sanely.

Through working the Steps and using the Tools of Recovery, together, we have discovered a greater peace with our spending and money issues.

Membership

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop overspending. There are no dues or fees. Spenders Anonymous is not a religious program, nor do we affiliate with any denomination or faith tradition. We believe that our spending behavior is not about money, but about the compulsion and so, is a Spiritual problem with a Spiritual solution.

We depend on the strength and guidance of a Power greater than ourselves, but we individually chose what our unique Higher Power is.
